Natural Mineral Water

Natural Mineral Water Every city in North America has natural mineral content in the water; some areas have higher levels of minerals than others. Minerals in water are beneficial and should be replenished after removal by filters like reverse osmosis and distillers.

Water that contains natural minerals and alkaline pH is associated with lower mortality from heart disease and cancer, and overall good health. The drinking water in the 100 largest cities in the US were found to have 10% to 25% reduction in the amount of cancer deaths when the drinking water had a moderately high level of minerals and had an alkaline pH (above 7.0).

Healthy Alkaline Equilibrium State

Healthy Alkaline Equilibrium State

In a major study, the British Regional Heart Study, 253 towns in the UK were analyzed and the results showed 10% to 15% more cardiovascular deaths in areas with less mineral content than in areas of higher mineral content.

Traditional distillation and reverse osmosis systems filter out all the trace minerals that are naturally found in water. However, MineralPRO™ Drinking Water Systems add the natural minerals back into the water exactly the same way nature does. We use naturally occurring and organic minerals that consist of mainly calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium that have a natural self-limiting property to correct the pH only enough to reach a healthy alkaline equilibrium state.

Magnesium controls muscle contraction, protein metabolism, blood coagulation, and energy production, among other vital tasks. Failure to take in enough magnesium over time leads to high blood pressure and osteoporosis.

Adults should consume 1000-1200 mg of calcium per day.

Sodium naturally occurs in water supplies in varying amounts due to underground salt deposits and sea water. It is also added to water supplies in some areas to make it "soft" (or through home water softeners), and used for water purification in the form of sodium hypochlorite.

Potassium is critical in maintaining proper electrolyte and acid - alkaline balance.
